Consultation

For the drawing up of the new PTRC, pursuant to the regional town planning law the Veneto region must tune its planning activity to the method of confrontation and consultation with the territorial public bodies, the administrative authorities dealing with the public interests, the economic and social associations which are considered as stakeholders, the companies dealing with public services, by inviting said subjects to give their contribution to set the goals and the strategic choices.

Pursuant to the national regulations on Strategic Environmental Assessment and the relevant regional provisions, the participation of the competent subjects and the public must be guaranteed to determine the planning choices while pursuing sustainable development.

With Decision of the Regional Council no. 4515 dated 28^th December 2007 and no. 1056 dated 6^th May 2008, the Veneto region has organized to this end 11 meetings dealing with themes chosen from among the objectives of the Preliminary Document: use of lands, biodiversity, energy, resources and environment, mobility, economic development, social and cultural growth.
The meeting will be held in the Municipalities of the Veneto provinces.

The contributions aimed to share and improve regional planning are therefore valuable, given the importance of PTRC for the territorial management policies.
