The Asiago Charter - Foundations of a good government of the territory (February 2004)

The high cultural value of an instrument like P.T.R.C. is the reason why the specialists committed in the drawing up of the document are partnered - by decision of the Region - by five “wise men”, i.e. five high-profile personalities acting as consultants. Their role is to go through the historic, urban, social and economic evolution of the Veneto Region in order to give advice in the difficult task of combining the “living” and “settling” attitude typical of the Veneto people with the requirements and issues of the “third Veneto”, as outlined in the Veneto Regional Development Plan. This cannot be achieved without a consistent and far-sighted plan.

The five personalities are: Mario Rigoni Stern - writer; Ulderico Bernardi - sociologist; Ferruccio Bresolin - economist; Paolo Feltrin – political scientist; Eugenio Turri – naturalist and geographer.
On 2nd February 2004, at the Asiago Town Hall, they participated in a forum on the Veneto territorial planning, giving their original contribution on the foundations of a good government of the territory.
